Check-in was quick and easy.

My room was a single queen size bed, so the room was, very, very small. The bathroom is even smaller, no bath-tube, just a single shower stall and very little counter room! LOL.

Room was clean. The linens were really pretty too, a nice little touch!

All in all, I enjoyed my stay, great location and a pleasant staff.
Next time I am in Santa Barbara I will stay at The Encina Lodge, again.

The two bedroom suite was a full size apartment. It had a large living room with a flat panel TV, a kitchen and small dining area. It was very comfortable.

It was a pleasant 15 minute walk through very attractive neighborhoods to the Santa Barbara Mission and only a five minute drive to the wharf and the shopping district on State Street.

Great service and very comfortable surroundings. The rooms were quite comfortable and the area beautiful! Room service was great and the food delicious! I was staying for a couple of days recuperating from surgery. Thank goodness we arrrived a day early and had an opportuntiy to enjoy the hotel. The staff was fabulous. I am making another reservation!

The only people more loyal to the Encina Lodge than longtime guests like us are the hotel's staff. Most of the employees have been there for years if not decades, and they take pride in offering professional service to their guests.

The rooms were very comfy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, close to the downtown area and other attractions. I especially appreciated the restaurant for economical good meals. All in all, I'd recommend this place to all visitors.

Free computer in the lobby for guests. Staff is extremely nice. Nice coffee with fresh muffins each morning. Liked it!
