The room was clean, bed comfortable, bathroom roomy & weather wonderful. It was alittle too far away from the downtown section, which we would have prefered.

Very cozy and great location. At prices as little as 80 a night it is a terrific value for the Carmel area. The only complaint we had was the low water pressure and noisy water pipes.

We will be staying there again.

Location, breakfast selections, amenities in room (especially microwave and fridge), peaceful setting. I plan to stay there again, possibly plan a family reunion there.

The heater was loud. The bathroom had a strong smell.

Nice grounds, quiet room even though it was next to main road. Bed needs to be replace, rough time getting comfortable. Bath room needed a few repairs, rust showing through the wallpaper.
Worked ok for the price - clean, quiet, pleasant host, nice grounds. Good place if they can do touch ups on the bathroom and replace the mattress.
Continental breakfast: dry cereal, rolls and coffee, which you can bring back to your room (trays provided).

Just a short drive to downtown, and right off Highway 1. Cute, convenient, and charming! Room was clean and comfortable--more like a little one room cabin than a hotel. Plus, the gas fireplace gave it a cozy feel.
