The location and grounds and facilities are excellent, we really enjoyed our stay. Service and food were both very good and the grounds and pools were all well maintained. Our only complaint was with our room - we had a second floor single room facing the tennis courts. The location was fine but the rooms need some upgrading. Was expecting a ...
We booked this at a discount rate and it met our expectations for visiting family over the holidays. However, I don't know how it's rated four stars. I've stayed in other four-star hotels all over the world that were better maintained. The rooms are really old and need some fixtures replaced and thorough cleaning. Beds were ...
The grounds are huge and well kept. Our room was very far from any of the pools and then the pools weren't very clean. The Cabana bar at the pool wasn't staffed so we were unable to get any drinks! The breakfast buffet is small and overpriced. OUr shower head sprayed water everywhere but on us.The final insult came at time of check out. ...
Loved everything about the resort. I'm guessing those who are trashing the resort are probably doing so because they work at the competition. The grounds were beautiful, the pool areas particularly. Service was professional and prompt. We couldn't have been happier.
We thought it was a lovely place with several pools and lovely grounds and scenery. Loved Remington's too (restaurant, bar) nice happy hour. Good bartenders and entertainment.
They have internet service (for $9.99/ 24 hrs), which works well but I was hoping it would be free, considering the $ I paid for the hotel. The staff were courteous and very helpful. The pool area is very nice, but the drinks and food are expensive. However, I got some great tips on area restaurants to check out. It's hard to go wrong in Scottsdale. Despite it's Scottsdale Road address, the resort was nice and quiet.
I will never stay here again, $10.00 for a glass of wine was ridiculous, especially it isn't a top class hotel. I asked the bar tender if the resort ever buys a drink for their customers, and he actually told me only if you buy 10 drinks. So, I have to pay $100.00 for a free drink, and probably be totally drunk!!! Then I asked on the hotel ...
Cell reception is horrible. They did not have high-speed access when I was there... perhaps they've upgraded by now. The rooms are small and cramped. Across the street at another resort is an awesome spa and gym... which is good because there is neither on site. The grounds are pretty to walk around, if that's your kind of thing. Overall the place felt neglected.
