About the only positive comment I can make is that the owner, Frank Langford did allow me to stay at the hotel with my dog but I suspect it was only because he feared a lawsuit as I reserved a room through a hotel website which mistakenly listed the Vendome as a pet-friendly place. Sitting on the front porch, sipping a cup of tea from a china teacup or having a glass of wine while watching friendly townspeople walk by was comforting. Staff very friendly and want to make guests comfortable. Rooms were clean. Location was a block from center of town; very convenient. Would defintely return.

If you love historic buildings, you will love this hotel. Very well kept. Owners and staff were friendly and courteous and treat you like a guest in their home. Great location, a short walk to downtown. My only complaint was that the bed wasn't very comfortable, but that wouldn't stop me from staying again.

My husband and I love our repeat visitors to the hotel. We look forward to a nice romantic dinner at the nearby restaurant "The Rose" a stroll around the square and our comfortable bed at the Vendome.

Arrived with no reservations and the manager let us look at three rooms to pick the one we wanted. Friendly and courteous service, very comfortable and homey rooms with nice beds and spacious baths. Quiet location just a short walking distance from the square, great dining, shops and historic sites. Great little wine bar, simple but good ...

I like how it had a home feeling to it. And the people their were very nice and i enjoyed my stay their very much. You should go and try it if you want a home feeling to it.

This is a wonderful place and the service is amazing. People are very friendly and the rooms are small but sweet. It's homey and comfortable, definitely something to check out in Prescott!

Our anniversary was wonderful because this place was different than the hotels that all look alike. We could relax, play checkers in the lobby and enjoy all the interesting things all around the place. It's a nice feeling to be in this old building that has been kept up nicely. We will always remember staying here.
