After hiking the Grand Canyon, five of us stayed in 2 rooms at the Dobson Ranch Inn for 2 nights. We had stayed at the hotel in the past but the last visit we noticed it was getting a little run down. We decided to bite the bullet & give it another try. We were not disappointed. The rooms have been renovated & were very clean. Our rooms ...
Business trip --location perfect for appts I needed to make and facility was clean, spacious rooms with refrigerator and internet connection. Restaurant, "The Other Place" had such a diverse menu that I ate there every evening which was convenient. Breakfast each morning was full--not continental- so no one should leave hungry. Will definitely stay there again on any other trip to Phoenix area.
Although the BW Dobson Ranch is not a new hotel, it is a beautiful property, well maintained, and very clean. The restaurant is excellent! An excellent value compared to other Phoenix properties - I will definitely return.

Very convenient location. Continental breakfast is very well done. The grounds are nicely kept and the staff, on the most part, is friendly. Can find good shopping around the area and spring training is always fun.

Unethical

We had planned a conference at the Dobson Ranch Inn for a year. Had a contract and paid the deposit. Seven weeks before the confernce they said 'too bad' we are canceling you. It was a nightmare. They are unethical and not at all regretful. Just a better deal came along and they took it.

Pleasantly surprised...

I went to Phx/Mesa with my family for a trip to sunsplash(btw, go to the hotel website for a sunsplash package...it's an excellent bargain). Overall, I was very pleased with the experience for $64 a night. The girls(teenagers) at the front desk were friendly and helpfull. I got a complimentary drink and the free breakfast. Our rooms were ...

Too bad
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/01/06
This place has a great piece of property, not bad to stay at, but the staff is comatose and facilities run down. Don't expect to get any help with bags nor your room to be ready.
I booked my hotel room from internet for three nights ($78.00/night) for my son's graduation at ASU this May. My first night was terrible because the loud noise from the broiler next to the room (#121) kept us from getting any rest. We noticed the noise when we were ready to go to bed at around 10:00pm. We called the front desk about the noise ...

BW should drop the breakfast or do it right!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/21/06
I stayed at this location for proximity to business. The wide corridors in the otherwise aging structures was a pleasant experience. Inside, room was clean with standard BW quality and included a wired hi-speed Internet connection. A fridge was there but I find a microwave to be more useful than a fridge. The two gals at the front desk were ...

Very convenient to most parts of the valley, the freeway is just around the corner. Food was good, served by people who actually seemed to enjoy what they were doing. No real nocks, a good value
