I liked the food at Arizona dinning room. The food was great and the staff was wonderful. The dining room lies on the edge of the south rim of the Grand Canyon.
It was breath taking.

Step out of the Lodge right out onto the rim of the canyon. Find a deer sleeping under your window. That is what you'll find at Bright Angel, alone with easy access to the shuttle, great food and a relaxed atmosphere. Have stayed there twice and would book again in a heart beat.

We stayed here because of the location. We were told by reservation staff "on the edge" of the Canyon. Well, it is about 2 minute walk and well worht it. How did they get the elk and deer to graze in front of our door on the grass every morning!? At $98 we had a room as part of 4-plex cabin. We could here the neighbors conversations. I am gld they were quiet. Small bathroom. Excellent decor and accomodation in a GRAND location.

Loved these small Historic Cabins, of which there are only a handful, not in the regular listing of accommodations, that are right on the edge of the Canyon. They provide firewood and starter, the log cabin or Santa Fe style interiors are very cozy. Not new are these, very steeped in history of the West and the Canyon.

We stayed a few times over the past few years and always were very pleased with everything. We had cabins, rooms and the most wonderful room with an expansive window on the rim, and I mean on the rim!!. This room had the most beautuful view of the canyon and the rim that you can get. Could not have been any better than what we had. Just call it ...

Our trip to the South Rim (43 Years ago) was one of the most memorable trips of our life...My wife and I were 25 and 23 at the time...Our stay at Bright Angel and the ride down the Grand Canyon on "Muleback" was something we will cherish, along with our aching posteriors...I would highly recommend the trip and to stay at Bright Angel ...

On Friday June 1st my husband and I took a day drive to the Grand Canyon which is only about 130 miles from us. I had just seen Rachel Ray (Food Network) at the Canyon and thought we would try the ice cream "Apple Grunt" that she had been so graciously served at the Bright Angel Lodge Restaurant. It was 3:20 in the afternoon, well ...

My visit was not recent, but I would have no hesitation in returning another time. Rooms were comfortable and service was friendly, and inter-action with other guests made the visit memorable.

We were in a simple but so pleasant and comfortable room.We had a shared shower...no problem.
