One of the best places I've stayed atFirst off let me say that I travel 90 percent of the time for my job and have stayed at many hotels. This is my second time visiting Fairbanks, and my first time staying at the Quality Inn here in Fairbanks and I am loving it. Better than someI travel to Fairbanks quite frequently on business. I have stayed at some hotels and had keys thrown at me. I have also stayed here when it was a best western and had horrible experiences. The service is much improved then before and everything is updated wich is much more helpful. An Amazing StayThe three nights I stayed at this hotel was such a great experiance. It used to be a Best Western but management has changed it to a Quality Inn. The million dollar remodle that is taking place I'm sure will make this hotel ten times better then it already was. The employees are always on top of making sure the guests are taken care of. Never AgainThe hallway was covered with dirty linen and food, the room was musty, the beds hard and the view of some run-down buildings not so pleasant. At $30/night, maybe, but its priced to compete with the "best" local hotels. How it got three stars from Yahoo (AAA?) I'll never know.OVERALL

Wouldn't recommend this placeOld, rundown, overpriced, bad neighborhood. Only the lobby looked good.
When breakfast items such as coffee, eggs, rolls juice ran out they were not replaced until someone complained, and only then if you knew the item was suppose to be there in the first place and asked specifically for that item.
