Anchorage is great in late spring to early fall. Late fall through early spring is too cold, windy, and snow. As late as early April. If you fish, find out what fish are running when. The different salmon have different months that they return. Halibut are always there. Denali is a must see. The city is really spread out so allow yourself time to get out of the city.

We loved this hotel when my sister got married. We stayed in the Governer's Suite and my parents stayed in a suite a couple floors away. Having a room in the hotel made getting ready for the big day so stress free and easy. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant had wonderful service and the food was great.

It was clean, the staff is great and the prices are right. Can't find a better value in Anchorage.

My husband and I stayed at The Hilton Anchorage in April 2004. The hotel is in the city center, within walking distance of many downtown shops and restaurants.

Had a wedding there. As a bonus these folks threw in a suite for the bride and groom. Loved the rooms we were in and the food in the restaurant was fabulous.

Service at the front desk, bell desk, and restaurants/bar is very good. Housekeeping is good. Condition of Anchorage Tower is average. I have stayed at other Hiltons which pay more attention to detail...something which is foremost to 4 and 5-star hotels.
