We were with a group of friends. The staff was excellent, along with the daily breakfast. The hotel is situated near everything. Our room was a bit small, but we would upgrade when we go back. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

I am a travel agent and just returned from Italy. The Ala was by far the best hotel we stayed in. The location is wonderful, a short walk from St. Mark's square. The service staff could not have been more pleasant the and rooms were neat and clean. The two best things were the wonderful breakfast which is included, and the free boat to Murano island. Do yourself a favor...

I've stayed at this hotel three times and each room was different & beautiful. Very convenient location, wonderful breakfast, friendly staff, computer available in lobby. I've sent several friends who also loved the Ala, and I hope to return soon.

We stayed during January. We were lucky to find such a cozy and lovely hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room was good size with a great view. We enjoy happy hour in the bar lounge.....very cozy and warm. Only negative was the service in the bar area and their prices. I would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at the Best Western Hotel Ala in Venice for two nights in December. The hotel is very clean with a pleasant & attentive staff. The location is excellent, as it's less than a 1-minute walk from the S. Maria del Giglio Vaporetto stop and about a 5-7 minute walk from St. Mark's square.

The rooms are a bit small, but are on par with all the rooms I've stayed in in Italy.

Very comfortable with touches of understated elegance, great service and a super location that's very convenient to everything in Venice. Just steps from St. Marks's Square and shops. They provide a very substantial breakfast with plenty of staff to bring you coffee, etc.
