It is a very safe hotel in the perfect location to enjoy the city.We had a large family and everyone felt comfortable going and coming to their rooms without being worried. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

I went on a class trip with my American Studies class. We stayed in the Edison Hotel and the experience was great. Everything was great except for the helpfulness of the staff. the ONLY good thing about the Edison is it's location. THAT'S IT ! ! Old, dirty,..... service? they have service? First we were put in the wrong room, waited 45 mins for another, just what you want to do when you first get to NYC, sit around in a (dirty) hotel lobby waiting for 45 mins.
The shower???? I've had better water pressure ...

This is a wonderful hotel. I loved the showers and the location. Being in the middle of time square is one of the hotels advantages. You are able to walk to different Broadway Plays and great Resturants. I have nothing bad to say about Hotel Edison, it is a wonderful hotel, and I am looking forward to going back.

We stayed at the Edison for 2 nights in Sept 2005. The staff were very professional and extremely helpful. Parking at the hotel by valet only at a cost of $29 per day. Travellers Cheques cashed at the cashier desk without a fee.

I thought this hotel had excellent service and a good location. I thought the decor was average, however it is a good value. It was someplace I would certainly consider going to again in the future.

When the family is coming to town you can book them into the Edison and be cool. The location is great and the food is good at a reasonable price.
