People working there are not very friendly. We had to switch rooms because the tolet actually blew water all over the place when you flushed the tolet. They treated us like it was our fault. My husband and I just came back from Lake george and we stayed at Motel Montreal. I think it is the best motel in Lake George and very affordable as well. It is 2-3 mins walk to all the main attractions, the staff was nice and the rooms/bathroom are extremely clean and looks new.

The owners were extremely diligent about servicing our needs, i.e., refrigerator, extra pillows. It was very clean and average in size for two adults. We had requested a room for three adults and the room we received was too crowded for all three adults. It would have been fine for two adults and a child.

When we come to Lake George, we always try to stay at Motel Montreal. The rooms are excellent, always very clean, and the facilities are perfect. It is a great location with just a five minute walk to the village, Best of all, the owners are very friendly, always helpful and quite knowledgeable about the area. This is our first choice always.

We have never been made to feel so welcome as we have here,its a feeling that will stay with you throughout the year. When I look for hotels on the internet, I always worry about the picture not being as nice as the place - not in this case. They accomidated all of my needs and were very helpful in suggesting a place to canoe. The location is perfect - with in walking distance to everything, but far enough away from any type of craziness. Very relaxing. Very clean. Will stay there again. Price was also very appealing, compared to other hotels in the area.

I only have great reviews for this Motel. Warm hospitality from concerned and helpful owners, clean rooms (interior and exterior),comfortable beds, courteous staff,clean pool, close to lake, shops and restaurants. I highly recommend it.
