The room was very dirty and old. The bed smelled like a mixture of urine and throwup. The service was crappy. Hot water ran out after 3 minutes, and I could go on.

This wa the worst motel I have ever stayed at, anywhere in the world.

the room was not 51.00. he claimed they have no 51.00 rooms for a number of years. i paid 83.00 with tax and a 5% discount. the carpet was dirty, cigarete burns, etc. bathroom was clean. her dog barked outside my window in the evening and at 6:25a.m. for 15 minuites. ( i timed it ). she encouraged me to bring my dog in instead of leaving him in ...

Had a killer time riding the POW in haines. I was inspired to come to haines after watching a show that TGR did up here. This little place was a good basecamp for us. Rooms were clean and the kitchen in the room was a solid spot for storing some brewskies and warming up grub on down days. This is the place you want to be to get in some great lines in a great place. Had some down days due to weather but had some epic days once it went bluebird.

Pros

Small Freindly Place. Quiet but close to everything. A great small motel in a beautiful town. I will come back.

Cons

None Really.... this is not the Ritz Carlton but this is probably the best place in town for an old fisherman who wants a clean and quiet room.
