As a family of four, we've been going to the Belvedere for over 25 years...My husband and I started going about 30 years ago...We've even taken friends and family with us...The Belvedere is our home away from home...We all love it and look forward to going back year after year. We meet our friends who have also stayed for many years like ...

I liked the reviews, I like the smaller motels. I called and the long time owners had died and their kids have it up for sale. Don't know what will happen the all that old good will from past patrons

I booked 2 rooms, one for my parents and one for my wife, 1 year old child, and myself. We had intended the suite for us so that we'd have a kitchen to wash bottles and a fridge to keep milk in. But they wouldn't allow the baby in the sweat because they said they didn't want kids peeing on their king size comforters.

They are not open until april 9th, moving to VA beach area, was looking for a deal till i found the perfect house.
Off season, look elsewhere.

This hotel has fabulous staff, service and a really, really good coffee shop. It is dated but clean and comfortable. I have stayed @ other hotels that are twice the price and not half as enjoyable to stay at. Great balconies, view of the ocean and free bikes to use on the boardwalk. I just hope this family keeps this gem and it's loyal following of guests for many years to come.

Yes the Belvedere does not look as fancy or as modern as its neighbors but that is the only thing that might turn someone off to this hotel. The staff was awesome and after a week we got to know them on a first name basis. The rooms were neat and clean. The bathrooms could be bigger, though. Everyroom on the oceanfront, easy to get around, no complicated parking. I loved it! I can't wait to take my family back and stay again.

My family stayed at this hotel two years ago, and we are going back this year. You cannot beat the price, and every room has a view. The atmosphere is lovely, and the service is amazing!

My wife and I have been going to this hotel for 14 years. Yes it is a little old or outdated. I think it is clean. Great beachfront view. Great coffee shop. We will continue to go back

Staff and management were very accomodating. Room was clean and parking was very accessible. Small coffee shop provided a great meal for a very reasonable price. We would stay here again.
