Well now it is 2009 and I still don't like Johnny's..probably because I know the owner way too well.Nick is THE most UNPROFESSIONAL businessman I have ever encountered..rude, uncaring about the people that work for him AND his customers. We love Johnny's. The filets are the best ever. The atmosphere is classy and the martinis are huge. I've never had better steak anywhere and the staff is friendly and professional. I can't imagine what anyone could complain about. I do wish they would take reservations on weekends, but big deal.OVERALL

We just had a fine dinner in a place that we least expected to find one. Johnny's Bar and Steak House is located just off the Reading/Denver exit of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, along route 272 in the heart of the Amish tourist area. Let me say at the outset that we like to support local businesses and this used to be the case for this dining establishment. Since their opening we’ve eaten there more than a dozen times. Nothing special hereThe steakhouse tries to portray a highclass atmosphere but it is far from. If you want to be a fancy restaurant you don't build it under a dinner, and you also don't have a big screen tv playing nascar in the background.
