Well now it is 2009 and I still don't like Johnny's..probably because I know the owner way too well.Nick is THE most UNPROFESSIONAL businessman I have ever encountered..rude, uncaring about the people that work for him AND his customers. Do you know that he and his brother closed Silk City without a WORD to any of their employees. That's ...

We love Johnny's. The filets are the best ever. The atmosphere is classy and the martinis are huge. I've never had better steak anywhere and the staff is friendly and professional. I can't imagine what anyone could complain about. I do wish they would take reservations on weekends, but big deal.

We just had a fine dinner in a place that we least expected to find one. Johnny's Bar and Steak House is located just off the Reading/Denver exit of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, along route 272 in the heart of the Amish tourist area. It wasn't an easy place to find because it is located in the basement of the Silk City Diner, a rather ...

Let me say at the outset that we like to support local businesses and this used to be the case for this dining establishment. Since their opening we’ve eaten there more than a dozen times. We’ve had two bad experiences at Johnny’s diner within the last month and will never go there again. ...

happened across Johnny's Steakhouse while traveling back to Philadelphia from one of my business excursions in Adamstown, PA. I was directed there buy a young couple at a gas station when I asked of a good place to eat. After finally finding the bar/restaurant I was surprised by the décor, as it was unusually stylish for the area. I sat at ...

Nothing special here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/01/07
The steakhouse tries to portray a highclass atmosphere but it is far from. If you want to be a fancy restaurant you don't build it under a dinner, and you also don't have a big screen tv playing nascar in the background. The food was alright but you could get it at Chilis or TGIF, not anything special.

The Best Steaks In Lancaster County

We are a very frequent customer. The steaks are out of this world. Done to perfection. The best steaks in Lancaster County!! Seafood at its best for a surf and turf and one heck of a good drink to go with it all. Great atmosphere listening to the old age era music and very relaxing. Nick the owner..a great guy and very friendly and cares about ...
