I'm sure the Rodeway Inn isn't the worst hotel in Pensacola, but they seem to be actively working towards it.

Our rooms were poorly maintained, had roaches, and a convenient half inch crack under the door so their roach friends could visit. The furniture, room and bathrooms were shabby, and had not seen a thorough cleaning in some time. ...

the staff must have quite that day
no work was ever done to those filthy rooms
the microwave was dirty with pizza crust in the microwave dirty towels were in the room
and they never were even changed even after we called the front desk people hung out in the hallways all times of night trash was left ...

The Front Desk Clerk was Courteous and friendly. Only positive to my visit. Hotel practically invisible at 1130 pm. Poorly lit and Sign not lit. Room is nasty! Tile shower walls with mildew, stained porceline tub, and mildewed dirty shower curtain. Toilet bowl hasn't been scrubbed recently. Kitchenette has dirty dishes in drying rack on ...

The room was AWFUL! Moldy shower curtains. Extremely amature repairs to the shower and tiles. Torn carpet. The room stank. If I hadn't arrived late at night I would have kept going.

If I were you and this was my option for the night, I would easily decide to drive another 30 miles to stay at ANY!!! other hotel.

I am not a picky person in the least, but this is a slum hotel.
