If you get a room near the 101 it can be very loud. Also you have to pay to watch TV on a old 25 " unit. Also we didn't have a working bathroom fan to get rid of the steam from the shower.
I will say the room was very clean and the staff very helpful.

Perfect stay away from the hustle and bustle of Santa Barbara. It's a nice quiet hotel with super comfortable beds. I would absolutely go back and stay. Just make sure you get a room on the McMurray road side, not the 101.

Sipping some local wine on the patio was the perfect way to end a day of local tasting.

The feature we like most about this hotel is the location. It is close enough to Santa Barbara to spend the day sight seeing and then return to the quietness of the hotel in the evening. We also enjoy the side trip to Solvang for breakfast each morning. It is a very quiet, peaceful setting.
