plan to stay there again in September when
we vacation.
We understand that the hotel has been sold to new owners and we hope that the great
service we've recieved in the past will continue in the future.

I have stayed at the Sandpiper Inn quite a few times and was so sad to hear that it was closing. But I have recently heard that it will be reopening for the summer of '06. It will also still be a hotel with beautiful ocean front views. I also know that families can stay there now too. It definitely is the place to stay this summer or any time of the year, just remember to bring your wallet!!!

My wife and I have been going to Cape May for about the last 5 years and love the Sandpipper. The location is great! We love the fact it is located near the south end of the main strip. It is always clean and very quiet. Hate to see it go.

For 15 years we stayed at the Sandpiper. The best place in Cape May. Now it has been sold and is being renovated for condo's. All have been sold starting at $600.000.00 !!!!!! Crazy...crazy....

The entire facility was spotless. The rooms were clean and extremely comfortable, and the view of the ocean was an added bonus. Everything was within walking distance. We look forward to another visit in the future!

The only thing we did not like about the Sandpiper was Section A-1 which is all non-smoking but they permit smoking on the balcony which is annoying. If you book a non-smoking room you do not want to inhale the smoke of the person in the next room. If you complain they will call the person and tell them not to smoke but we feel this entire section should be non-smoking in the room as well on the balcony.

It is close to the beach. We love Cape May and always stay at the Sand Piper.

Beautiful koi pond. Staff is friendly and helpful.

We are going back this summer and will stay there any time we vacation in Cape May.
