Great views. We saw otters every day feeding right in front of our room. Saw dolphins 2 out of the 4 days. There were a lot of birds, but they weren’t a problem. They mostly stayed on the rocks just off the shore and it was fun watching the pelicans dive bomb into the ocean. Bring binoculars.

Great location close to the cliff, but similar locations can also be accessed nearby without staying at the hotel.
I was really looking forward to our stay at this hotel but was greatly disappointed. I ended up paying far too much, as for the same price we could have gotten better hotels in Pismo beach.

Freindly Staff, Beautiful view. Nice & clean room. Loved how we had a view of the ocean. Also enjoyed the landscape and being able to walk around. The location is close to good restaurants as well.

This was the first time for me in Pismo Beach, and what a beautiful place! The hotel was right on the beach with to die for views. Very nice room with all I could have asked for. Very quiet surroundings and the free breakfast wasn't bad either.

On a tour of Highway 1, my husband a I decided to spend the night in Pismo Beach. Well we enjoyed our stay we acyually extended it to two nights. We took walks and feed the rabbit that hide in the bushes off the walkway facing the coast, We are looking for our next visit to Pismo Beach and plan on staying at Shelter Cove again.
