Overall the Block is not what I expected from the pictures. It looks like a hip, cool, modern place to stay. But the fact is, it needs some work. If you go to The Block, here’s what you should expect:
- It is terribly obvious that the owners bought a cheap motel and tried to make it hip with some paint on the walls, board racks, and a huge TV…but the fact is, it’s still a cheap motel (at 2-3 times the cost).

Awsome place to stay!

The staff was firendly,which made us feel comfortable. They went out of their way to show us their specialty rooms, let us stay longer in the pool area, always checked in to see if we needed anything. DJ Friday nights in the lobby! Internet access in the lobby. They even stopped by our baseball tourney to chat. We couldn't ask for anyhthing more. Expect us back in the winter. Thanks guys!
