We came acrossed this hotel by accident coming into the portland area and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was recently renovated. It was very clean and the staff was wonderful. We will definately stay here again.

After using a coupon from a travel magazine, the manager rewrote the rules after checkout. Children were now $10 extra and you could not apply the stay to the frequent flier program. The complimentary Continental breakfast was a joke consisting of bite size stale banana muffins and no juice. The coupon ended up costing us $5 over rack rate.

This was our first stay at a Howard Johnson. When I called the hotel directly I was told there were no rooms. Asked about a hotel nearby and was told 'I don't know.' There was one directly across the street.

The 800 number was very helpful and sure enough found us rooms there.

Asked for 2 non smoking - got 2 smoking rooms. ...

Nice place for an overnight stay. Clean, quiet rooms. Excellent service.
