This is now called the 'Death Valley Inn'. Completely refurbished. The casino and restaurant are gone.

The Burro Inn was terrible. We only stayed there in the RV Park. BUT, good news I hope. It is now completely remodeled and named the Death Valley Inn. We're headed there in 2 days to stay in the RV park. Rating on the old Burro Inn!!

Thank God it's closed and hope it stays that way, unless it gets new owners. I've been burned, infected and solicited for drugs all in one day. And all this was by the rooms and staff.

The carpet was stain and the fixtures were older. The bed was clean. Sheets in good condition and tv worked well. Burro inn was good place to stay outside of death valley with low rates. The diner was straight out of 60's with good americana food right down to the green jello. If you stay at a more modern hotel in beatty still check out the diner wonderfull american food.

If Death Valley is booked, (ie: Furnace Creek or Stovepie Wells) you have no choice but to stay in the town of Beatty. If you do, avoid this dump.
