What a dump. Service is horrible. Restaurant overpriced with bad food. No security. Boat broken into. Management is lazy. Toilet backs up they hand YOU the plunger. Back building has a bat problem. Rooms are filthy. No way, no how will I go back to this sewer.

We recently joined the hotel crowd after having a sailboat in a slip on the lake for years. The rooms were clean and comfortable but you need to make reservations or get there early as there is no late check in. The restarant and cantina are great. This is the ONLY place to stay that has a lake view and it is spectacular. The lake is up the sailing ...

Pretty view of the lake behind the Motel so if you come here ask for rooms in the back...Its not a 5 star hotel but it does have pretty surroundings

Great location, you can see the lake from your room ,never have to go to town, lodge has ice . Boat ramp and convinience store less than a quarter mile away. The restaurant has the best food in Del Rio. Ive been coming here for years and the new owners have done a great job with a full bar and Restaurant that is family friendly with kids meals and the best Steaks in Del Rio.

i have been going to amistad lodge for over 22 years..every 90 to 120 days! i am self employed..and self insured,,and so i am definitely on the MEXICO INSURANCE PLAN!! my regular doctor..an internist ..schooled in texas..is a short drive across the border....or approximately 15 minutes from amistad lodge! i have purchased all my prescription meds ...

Have stayed here many times over the years. Recently under new management. That(in this case) doesn't mean better management. No coffee in room or lobby. Can't count on restaurant being open. Price is right, but attitude of management leaves a little to be desired.

I have stayed at this place many times and always had a great expierence. If you are at the lake to fish or ski and have a boat you can park right in front of your room and charge batteries etc...It is also very close to a boat ramp and great eating places near by. I would highly recomend it.
