weren't sure what to expect after reading such conflicting reports, but I can tell you we were very satisfied. Sure, it's showing it's age, but it was clean, we had a great view of the city, loved the fireplace, and---- the added bonus was the Mother bear and three cubs out our door up in the tree. We loved watching them and taking pictures. Will go back.

My fiance and I checked into this hotel and found that our room was full of ants. We went down to the desk to complain and the attendant did not seem to care that we were complaining. We checked back out and stayed at a different establishment. The rooms were old and disgusting and stunk. Don't waste your time here.

Whil not as fancy as some of the Gatlinburg cabins I have staied in, Rodeway Inn was a greay place to stay near the city. We has a wonderful time there.

I wold recomend it to anyone who doesn't like overpaying for a nice cozy room. Staff was very friendly and quiet.

At check in the male attendant would not talk with me. He insisted to speak with my husband even thought I had made the reservations. We had a non-smoking room with a smoke infiltrated smell. The beds were concrete. I felt like I woke up in a tent on the ground. The bed covers were tattered and stale. An a Hotel neighbor peed off the balcony in plain sight.

My girlfriend and I stayed earlier this year and thought is was okay. I am not like some people and expect the Hilton for a budget hotel. Remember some people you cannot please no matter how hard you try. I will be back especially because the place is American owned.

Love the location. Everything is centrally located and within walking distance. All rooms face either the street and river or have the river running along side toward the street. Peaceful. And the price is good too.

We went to Gatlinburg in Dec 06 for the Christmas parade and loved staying here! We were pleasantly surprised to find out the hotel was on the parade route even! IT was awesome. We have one of the larger rooms with 2 bedrooms and it was perfect. Granted, it's not the most up to date but it had everything we needed for the weekend. We plan to return again this December!

The service upon check in was totally disrespectful. I booked thru expedia and was given a 2018 on bottom floor. The room was stale, beds were hard. Service all around was horrible.
