I've stayed in a number of places in the Winston-Salem area and this one was the best, by far. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. The period antiques and excellent media system made it feel more like home than a hotel. Great service too! I will definitely will stay here again.

We have made quite a few visits to Winston Salem to see our daughter while she was attending the NC School of the Arts. We have stayed the last four visits at the Summit Street Inn and had a great time. The rooms are nicely decorated, the locations is excellent, and the service and food is spot on. We loved our room. It was cozy and private and spacious. Fine dining was within walking distance. The innkeeper was very polite and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. Our refrigerator was well-stocked. I enjoyed eating off of the china and the table overlooking the window in the room we chose. We'll definitely return. Also, the shower was big enough for two and the jacuzzi was very romantic with the candles. An experience well done!

My husband and I have stayed several times and have loved it each and every time. He and I stayed in the same room every time except for once - it has become our special room. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. This has become our special "getaway" I would not change a thing.
