The price was good, but the place was awful. I would never stay here again. We choose this hotel because of the price but we had horrible service. Our door was wide open when we got to our room and then it wouldn’t lock or close all the way. And they gave us a hard time about switching rooms. I wouldn’t stay here again and I would not recommend it unless you really needed a cheap place to stay and were prepared for bad quality.

First off, I'd like to say that some of these reviewers are reviewing some other hotel besides the Red Roof Inn-Lafayette, because the pleasant place they are describing does not exist & it certainly isn't the same place where we stayed!

Our room was adequate for a one night stay and was reasonably priced.
Plus our small dog stayed free, where another chain motel that charged the same for rooms wanted $20 for the pet.
The motel is also well located.

After staying for a couple of overnight stays for the past two years, I must say I don't have any major complaints. I would like for them to provide better television service and refrigeration. Other than that, there location is convienient and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing.
