Our Perfect Little Gem in South OrleansFor those who are used to 4 star chains and or "Ritz-like" hotels this little gem in South Orleans is def. not for you. If you like a clean, friendly, charming and most importantly.....affordable place to lay your head hopefully after a full day of "adventuring" on the outer Cape than the Ridgewood is the perfect place! ...SHOW FULL REVIEW

Did Something Die in Our Room?There was a horrible stench in the room that we could not get rid of. Opening the windows and doors helped a little, so that's how we went to bed. Then someone woke us and told us it was not safe to sleep with the doors open, so we closed them and suffered the stink. We spoke to friends afterward who had the same experience.

Wonderful Little Place...a gemStayed there this summer, and it was exactly as expected and more. Wonderful location. It was central to everything. The host was very welcoming and I loved the donuts and coffee in the lobby. We stayed in the rooms at the hotel and they were very charming. Clean, very spacious rooms. GREAT VALUE!Nice place to stay, extremly friendly, room was clean. Our daugher had a soccer tournament nearby, for us it was a perfect location, the price was right! King of ValueThis motel is perfect for those who want to visit "the Cape" and don't want to pay what most places there charge. It is very clean, very friendly staff, free continental breakfast in the AM, and more. The swimming pool is big AND clean, and there also is a playground for the little ones.4 of 4 Yahoo! A Perfect Family GetawayMy family and I Loved the rustic feel of the Ridgewood....We felt like we were in "old cape cod" but without giving up good service, price and cleanliness.
The Knowles Family have run the business for over 20 years and we enjoyed there local town hospitality very much.
