My husband and I stayed for several weeks while working in the area in 2007. The people are friendly and will do what it takes to make sure you're happy. My daughter's family stayed for a week in December 2008 into the new year and found the staff to be kid-friendly. She stayed in the Crow's Nest which is a two bedroom apartment on the third floor with great views of the ocean on one side and the marsh on the other.
Like - any closer to the ocean and you'd be in the water
Dislike - mandatory damage deposit - not mentioned at time of phone reservation or on website. Rude attitude of male manager when I questioned, this 'deposit' - $150. Pre paid room, non-refundable ($175), left no choice but to stay.

Pilgrim Sands was a nice location for siteseeing around Plymouth. The tide was in for most of our vacation, so the beach was not accessible. The outdoor pool is very nice. Breakfast was great - saved us big bucks for our family of 4! We had the double queen room which was very large and spacious. A little bit of trouble with the cable TV, but they gave us a new cable which worked a little bit better. Would definitely stay there again.

Loved everything about this place. Location second to none. staff very friendly, helpful and courteous. We planned to stay a couple of nights but changed our minds and stayed for our entire trip and used it as a base for sightseeing in the area. Fabulous restaurant next door. No need to drive to find a great place to eat.

A place with a view worth a million dollars. What a fantastic place---the view, the sitting room, pool everything! I've never been so relaxed on vacation. Truly a wonderful experience.

Home away from home - but better

This is a cozy motel just across the street from Plymouth Plantation. Even though it is right on the main road it is quiet. The staff is friendly, helpful and treated us like family. The free breakfast set up is just right. Plus tea or coffee all day. The only place in the area with the spectular view of the harbor. This is a great place for families - not luxurious.

Loved the ocean view room and private beach. The room was spotless and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is also in excellent proximity to many attractions.
