Hotel is great and the food was wonderful. We booked for next year and will stay for 3 days!! prime rib was awesome and the steak tips were the best we've had in years. although no spa, there is one down the street thaat was alot cheaper than what we were used to!! Rooms beatiful and the bed was ..... well hard to get out of. hard to leave heaven.
I have stayed at the Wolfeboro Inn for the past six years. I have always been impressed. Not sure what the other comments are about. The staff has always been helpful and so friendly. I stayed there again w/ short notice due to the ice storm. The general manager had a special for those who lost power and was so accomodating to all of us w/ families ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/20/08
This person is not custermer service oriented. She has absolutly no management skills to say the least. I think its high time for a new general manager. Shes doing your inn no good at all. If i were you. Get rid of her.

Totally uncaring management
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/28/08
We paid $200. a night plus tax - got a tiny little room at the end of the hall. Sewer backed up in the bathroom on the 2nd nite of our planned 4 night stay - manager said, after we waited 2 hours for a non-existent maintenance man, that "I can't understand why you are so upset". Not a word of apology or offer to change our room. ...

Never again

We went there for our fortieth anniversary and were quite disappointed. Food was not great. Our "free breakfast" was from a very limited menu. If we had ordered from the regular menu, we got $2.00 off. The "1812 Steakhouse" was not open. At $220 a night, it was a rip off.

the best..........
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/20/06
We just booked again for nine days in 2007.......our third visit in 5 years.....the food is very good, reasonably priced and the bar is WONDERFUL; we found very attentive wait staff, the hotel extremely clean and you can't get a better location in Wolfeboro. We travel a long way from Ohio to get there, but it is so worth it!

STAY AWAY!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/14/06
I went on a boat cruise catered by the Wolfeboro Inn. I called ahead and let them know of my food alergies. I was told it was no problem. Upon arrival...I spoke with the staff, she informed me she had been filled in on my situation. When dinner was served...there was NOTHING i could eat! 150.00 per ticket...and 4 hours with not a single thing I ...

Smoking allowed in restaurants and Tavern
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/12/06
We were told that The Wolfeboro Inn was a smoke-free hotel. Upon checking in, we were told that the tavern allowed smoking. We were unable to eat or drink at The Wolfeboro Inn. Management told us we did not ask the right questions. We should have asked whether the restaurant and tavern were smoke-free. Will not stay there again

Watch what you eat

The rooms are great Staff is okay but the food is fried with fish and when you are highly allergic and you get shrimp in with the fries you get very ill, the wait staff could care less, I asked if the items were fresh and not fried with fish, they said yes but I found out how wrong they were. The bar area is also very smoky.
