Stayed for a weekend getaway and was very comfortable. The room was clean and roomy.
Will stay there again. Wish it was alittle less expensive when you have a family.

we were quite disappointed that they advertise "Free Wi-Fi" but you have to go sit in the motel office to use it. No signal to the rooms located away from the office. We probably wouldn't stay there again for that very reason. There are other similarly located and priced motels that DO actually have working, available-in-the-room ...

June 2007. Well we spent another wonderful week at the Maine St Motel in Bar Harbor. Makes about 10 yrs now. Believe me when I tell you its like going home again.
I would not stay anywhere else.

No-frills- but clean, great location and good service. You are an easy walk to the incredible harbor area (with lots of great shopping/restaurants along the way) and not far from the spectacular Acadia National Park. No pool- but no one seems to use them much here. Window unit A/C if you need it. Beds are comfortable- rooms are good-sized. Plenty of hot water and towels. A good stay.

Maine Street Motel is perfect for the budget minded, no frills traveler. The rooms were clean, accommodating, and very comfortable. The location was perfect...within walking distance to everything. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The staff was always friendly and very helpful with offering advice about local interests. We will return....and Maine Street Motel will be our home while we're there.
