We had a 3 month stay in Singapore and found the Royal Plaza terrific ,the staff always had a smile even when we were covered in dirt from work ,they were helpful and always helped us if they could nothing was to hard , next time lm in Singapore l will just book there without a thought of anywhere else l was that impressed

friendly staff, concierge not well conversed and lack in knowledge about places to visit in Singapore. Hotel is clean, booked two rooms -not consistent on amenities, two days missing wash cloth, missing directory in the room. Location is good, in the shopping area.

i really like this place, its in the heart of singapore, near to shopping malls, mrt & attractions...can't wait to go back again next year with my hunny! lastly, thanks a lot dad, its his choice! its the best... =)

this hotel actually is in under renovation and for me u cant judge this hotel by their look but more to service part...you can find good service around singapore..
but a service that make you happier than usual,a service that makes you feel comfortable when you around and a service that using less protocol but still have a great touch of service ...

Location wise - it's convenient. Competitively priced.
But that's all. They need to change present staff.
Concierge staff was extremely slow and rude to us! It is unheard of in Singapore to find a group of such lackadaisical people. We almost missed our flight trying to get a cab, we hailed one ourselves even though we had booked one ...

The Royal Plaza has an immaculate foyer, and attentive staff. The rooms are generally of a high standard, although the smoking floors smell quite noticeably. Its swimming pool is small but tasteful, if a bit too cold, even for Singapore's climate. The hotel has a prime location, surrounded by shopping centres and a very short walk from Orchard Road and the MRT (subway).
