iam an ex-employee of taj ambassdor .Bythe way I WENT TO TAJ AMBASSDOR AFTER 12 YEAR LATER I FOUND THE HOTEL IS VERY GOOD NOW SERVICE IS OKAY BUT CLEALINES IS ABOVE TARGET. I RECOMENED PEOPLE TO STAY IN EX-HOTEL

we really enjoyed staying at the Taj Ambassador. The bedrooms were big enough and the sitting/living room area was also nice, although at bit small. The hotel was very quiet and a great place to relax. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location and very clean.

Although it is considered a five-star by locals it is certainly a less glamourous sibling of the parent Taj properties. However for the business traveler this is a reasonable hotel -- clean rooms, nice decor, functional cable TV, wireless LAN (at an additional daily charge.)
