I suppose it's a matter of perspective because after all, it's Antananarivo, but the Hotel Carleton is growing on me.

Things I like: Shower, towels, doors that lock, laundry service, and the location, wireless internet (slow, but it's free), cleanliness (although I'm a guy and not an expert in this area).

The hotel was horribly furnished. The people were friendly, but the service was awful. The lobby was so daft and I was expecting a lot more from a top hotel company. Hotel Colbert was a way better deal and had more to offer.

I have stayed for one week in the hotel and must admit amongst all places I have stayed in Antananarivo this was my best experience.
