NOT STAYING AGAINTHE BOOKING THRU THE NET WAS FOR A STANDARD ROOM. THEY CHARGE USD 20 PER DAY EXTRA IF U WANT A NILE FACING ROOM.
THE BREAKFAST WAS AVERAGE BUT THE DINING AREA WAS INFESTED WITH FLIES OVER THE OPEN FOOD. FOOD AT THE ASIA HOUSE WAS GOOD.

Gracious and convenientThe Shepheard is perfectly located to go to the Museum and explore downtown Cairo. The Indian restaurant is very good, and the rooms are wonderful. The bed was one of the best i've ever slept in.

I can't wait to stay here again!Helnan hotel gave me a wonderful stay in Cairo with a spectacular Nile view, good access to downtown Cairo with extremely friendly and helpful staff. I cannot fault the cleanliness or hospitality of the hotel at all. The only problem I had was the ugly exterior but the interior and all aspects of staying there totally surpassed tht problem.
