before your booking, pls do make a phone call directly to check that the room you booked has been built. Everything is average, nothing outstanding, you might get better accomdation paying similar charge elsewhere in Chiang Mai.

A few years ago, Mr. Suchet Suwanmongkol started to build the Dhara Dhevi ("Support Star" or "Goddess Star"). We were surrounded by antiques and walked around in copies of old buildings and temples.

Nice enough resort, but this is no Four Seasons or Banyan Tree! The staff was helpful, the architecture exotic, the lanscaping lush... just like any other luxury resort in the region.
