I dove with Dive Makai in June of this year. They were very professional, friendly and displayed a great sense of humor - which is sorely missing with some guides. They were also gave informative briefings before diving about the marine life we were likely to see, along with some interesting facts about the behaviours of the animals. Would recommned without reservation.

Dive Makai offers a reasonable price with extensive information in a safe environment for anyone's first scuba experience. July, 2006 - My two sons (15 and 17) took the intro dive class from Dive Makia. They were excellent, safe and friendly while being "cool" (to quote my oldest). This is one of the few outfits that will take new divers off a boat. It was an experience my oldest son did twice while we were on the island. I would highly recommend this dive company for beginners.

I'd dive again with them in a heartbeat. Big on safety - big on the environment. True Fishhuggers here! I've never seen so many fish exhibit so many different behaviours before. Its changed the way I dive!
