Awesome!My wife and I had a great time on our 1 hour helicopter ride around Maui. Our pilot, David, gave us interesting facts about the island. He showed us this one valley with waterfalls and spun the helicopter to give the other 4 passengers a 360 degree view and as soon as he finished there was this amazing rainbox right in front of us. Great way to go!We took the long ride from Kona to get an overall view of the island and it was great (thanks to Toshi). Never been in a helicopter before so worried a bit about the ride -- it was almost smooth as silk. The views were nothing short of great. GREATFirst time in a helicopter so I have nothing to base the experience off of, but the trip was absolutely great. We took the one hour trip and next time I return I will definitely do the two hour. Volcano tour - good but l ongIf you've been on helicopter tours on some of the other islands, perhaps especially Kauai, you might be disappointed with this one - Unless you really want to see the volcano. Helicopter is the best way to see the lava and eruptions, but it's $$$, and the ride is quite long to visit, at least from the Kona / Waikoloa side.

Kohala Coast!Never been in a helicopter before and never thought I would be.
We left the airfield and went North to the Kohala coast. Waterfalls, some island history, a great pilot (thanks Toshi)

Interesting ViewsLoved to get above the island to see from a different aspect.
Would have been better on a better lava day. Did not get to see anything that was awe-inspiring. Wife got sick on the ride, so maybe that took away from it a bit, but nothing some dramamine couldn't have cured.
