We started out with my first double hook up which happened to be two striped marlin, our first ever and ended with a large ono (wahoo). Capt. Alan kept trying until all of us brought a fish in. I liked the determination he had to keep us all very happy! In fact, a couple of months ago, we caught a shark, ahi and a spear fish so I am very pleased ...

Just had another great outing this past July. We've fished with Alan for years and he keeps getting better. Very reasonable rates and I highly recommend this charter. He'll fish for whatever you'd like, but makes recommendations as to what has been "hot". We usually fish for ono and this past trip we landed a couple nice ones and a mahi mahi as well. Loved every minute of the fishing adventure on the Hapa Laka Charter. Definately worth the money - best deal on the Big Island. Very relaxed atmosphere and fun too. I would definately recommend this to a friend!
