Ski, Ski, SkiThis hotel is great because they take you to the ski area every day, They will pick you up and drop you off at train station. They also have meal plan for a small cost, breakfast and dinner.
The only thing I do not like is the fact that we went here for 5 or 6 years and then they told us we have to book for full weeks only and we would love to stay for a full week but because of my sons school I can notOVERALL

A great secret in EngelbergWe have been traveling to Engelberg for many years and there in no other place we would stay except for the Eidelweiss. Peter and Susan give the warmest welcome imaginable! The hotel is immaculately clean. Views from all rooms are incredible and the chimes of the Monestary nearby add to the ambiance of the whole experience. The food is ...2 of 2 Yahoo! The time of my lifeThe Eidelweiss hotel is like a little piece of heaven. We had a deluxe room, which was spacious and gorgeous. Oh those down duvets were a delight. The staff/owner/manager took time out to give us (we were a group on a conference) a trip up the mountain to a little tavern, where we were served with a gorgeous meal, and live oom pa pa music. ...1 of 1 Yahoo! Will be going backThe rooms are beautiful with their big fluffy duvets, they are also of a decent size, (we had a superior room) The staff are client orientated. The scenary is magnificent. Brilliant!!(+)...Location is great, food & overall service is excellent, friendly staff, atmosphere is fantastic. Superb for families even with small kids/babies.
Kids and beginners ski areas are best in class. Not too crowded.

I never wanted to leave!!I never wanted to leave that nice friendly hotel. Everything was so nice, the view, the rooms, the owners, everybody was really nice to me. I could just wake up everymorning and take my time and eat breakfast. Then I could go skiing, hiking,
