I had a wonderful expierence. The place is old Florida to the T. Maybe old Key West stlye. Good music on Friday and Saturday nights. Food and service was on point! I would recommend.

Being my very first experience with Ballyhoo was down right awful.

The establishment is not clean at all.

While eating dinner a Roach crawled across my table.

Management was rude did not apolize and they expected us to still pay the tab..

I do not recommend Ballyhoo at all

First of all the prices are way too high for what you get. I had a salad and the price was high and the salad was not fresh. The Salmon is way over priced and not as good as other restaurants in the area who serve it for a better price and also cook it the same way. We are frequent customers, and have never had a bad meal. The Bananas Foster is the best, salads are great, steak quesadilla are fantasic, the list goes on and on! The only negative things I can say, is sometimes some of the entrees are a little too salty for my taste, but I stick to the appetizers and make a meal out or them or a grouper ...

My wife and I have eaten here many times and have taken our friends. We eat out with another couple one day each week as a regulr thing. About 3 weeks ago we stopped just the two of us. I ordered Prime Rib and my wife ordered fried shrimp. The tea was watered down, the salad dressing watered down, and my prime rib was ice cold, her tarter sauce was terrible. I don't know what happened here, but it is scratched off our list.

My husband and I make an excuse to go to Citrus Mall just so we can stop by either for lunch/dinner! The staff at this restaurant seem to enjoy working there, and it shows in how they take care of customers! Just needed to let you know!! We'll be back and we usually bring someone with us!!
