Great if you like abstract art otherwise just niceWe had very high expectations from the Hess collection. A couple of guide books that we had referred to had proclaimed them to be the best in the Valley.
Unfortunately they didn't measure up to our expectations. We are not really into modern art and couldn't really enjoy the art collection. We liked their free tour. We are no wine ...SHOW FULL REVIEW

Hess is DisturbingAfter looking at the "Art", I felt so disturbed I needed to drink. Some of the art was like looking into the mind of someone totally insane. I felt the same way I did after seeing the movie Seven.Other Art looked like an elephant had walked through and pooped on the floor. You will want to visit again and againThe Hess Collection Winery Visitors Center demonstrate a skillful blending of vinicultural tradition and modern allure. The individuals who work there create a welcoming tone. The wine is a gem to behold in the northern Napa Valley. Try the Cabernets and the Mountain Cuvee and you'll be hooked forever. A really quality dayIt's more than a winery. It's an elegant yet comfortable art gallery with works beyond anything I've seen outside large city museums. Perfect experienceThe Hess Collection Winery was definately the highlight of my last trip to Napa. I have been to a few wineries and this one stood out from the rest. After viewing a fine collection of art I was introduced to a wine tasting experience I will never forget. The guides were very informative and the wine was truly delicious.
