We visited Andretti Winery on a 5 day vacation to Napa in early September 2009. The grounds were pretty which is the only positive thing I can say about this place. To start, they are one of the few wineries that still charges you a tasting fee no matter what you buy. From the moment we walked in the guys in the tasting room we’re ...
We will never go back. After visiting a few wineries we stopped here. The tasting bar was crowded so we waited. Finally, a spot opened up. We then waited even longer. No one greeted us, spoke to us, and waited on folks that arrived after us. In many years of wine tasting, we've never been treated like this. Save yourself the time and trouble--skip this one.
I must say I make many trips to the valley and it doesn't get any better than Andretti winery. The name 'Mario Andretti' pulled me in, but the beautiful setting and superb customer service (along with great wine of course!) keep bringing me back. If you can make it to only one winery...make it Andretti...trust me, it won't disappoint.
I read a couple of reviews on this winery and decided to give it a go. I am so glad that I did. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time there. The service is wonderful, our 'wine pourer' Massa had a great personality and made the experience really worthwhile. The wine is affordable and superb. I definetly recommend this winery if you're in the Napa region and want to do some affordable tasting.
After coming into town with my girlfriend, both our first AND last stop was at Andretti.
The staff was awesome, informative but not nosy - hilarious but not overbearing and attentive without making us feel like we wanted to leave out the back door.
After having dismal experiences in and around the big named wineries a few months ago, we ...
Take the "Oak Knoll" Cross Rd. off of Highway 29 in Napa Valley, or just one turn off of "the road less traveled, Silverado Trail, to venture into a Tuscan style Oasis at the Andretti Winery. This Winery is beautiful and almost a secret without being in a remote location. When my wife and I arrived, the place was nearly empty and we ...

The wines are as impressive, drinkable and refreshing. The friendly and charming staff is very helpful and they make the tasting into an experience with devoted attention and a local's perspective. The wines range from $16 to $59 and there is a wine for everyone here. The Tuscan Villa style winery makes this a must see "photo-op" and the overall experience will make you want to return on your next trip.
