OutstandingWhat a great place to walk the dogs, or take a hike, or my favorite, log some miles on the bicycle. 16.3 total miles of trails, many of which loop around the main 'bridle and bike' path, so shorter excursions are easy. R & RI agree with the other reviewer. Umstead Park is a beautiful place to visit. It has plenty of hiking/running trails that traverse through the woods. Backyard Get-a-wayWilliam B Umstead park is a great place to go for a hike, jog, bike or horse ride, to have a picnic and even camp! There are many trails that weave throughout the park. It is a great place to get away from all the stresses of the city streets and noise.
