Two and a half stars for this smashing hotel? Are you serious? It's not cheap but a great hotel in a very convenient location. And the best buffet breakfast in Oslo.

I thought this hotel was wonderful, from the moment we stepped in I was in awe. The rooms were furnished beautifully, we had a sitting room with desk, tv, huge bathroom with warming bars to dry clothes, very fluffy towels. The bedroom was very nice,also had a tv, the bed was very comfortable it was like sleeping on a cloud, there was a feather pad ...
The best thing about the Royal Christiania is its location, a few hundred yards from the Central Train station. The hotel includes a generous breakfast, buffet style, with eggs, good bread, muesli, and the usual pickled herring, smoked and salted salmon, etc. Rooms range from small to extremely small.
