We love to stay at the 'Mom & Pop' type of places because of the value for the $$$ and you usually are not treated as 'just a customer'....and Lake Breeze Resort was all of that and more! The owners were very accommodating and friendly-anxious to meet all our needs. The room we stayed in was one of their smallest-yet cozy. It ...
we were warmly greeted. told of all services including movies to rent, games to borrow.given easy directions to services, places. very comfortable, cozy cabin even with a back door! everything i needed in the kitchen. the view of the lake was absolutely spectacular! no obstructions! i am always so nervous about renting a place sight unseen but we ...
Service was lousy, people who own the place were incredibly rude-Please don't waste your time and money. We were not made to feel welcome at all. We were looking for a cozy, family atmosphere and were very disappointed.
My wife and I just spent 5 days there for our 30th anniversary. We splurged and rented the jacuzzi suite. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly and have a heck of a sense of humor. The store is open long hours for anything you may need. Everything was clean and the service was good. Even though the motel is 15 minutes from the harbor, ...
My husband and I, daughter, and two grandsons spent three delightful days at the Lake Breeze Motel Resort. It is spotless, looks newly decorated, and has many things to do which are included in the unit rate. We had a two room unit that included a bedroom, shower, small but complete kitchen and a small living room with a dining table and a ...

We spent the weekend cross country skiing in Gooseberry Falls State Park and at Piedmont park. The lodge reminded me of the simpler, less crowded times of the 1960s and 1970s. ...
The rooms at lake Breeze were very much smaller than expected, basically a room with a bed and a small book with a toilet. Staff were curtious but uninviting and unprofessional. Would be an ok place if you were looking for a bed to sleep in at night, but if you plan to spend any length of time in your room, spend a few more bucks and get a hotel. ...
Great location just outside of Duluth. VERY, VERY clean. The playground was well maintained, and they had free board games and mini golf that the kids loved. The only downside, was the rooms were smaller than I thought they would be, but great value for the price. We will be staying there again!
I'll be honest. I am very picky about motels in general. There are not many places that I would recommend, but this place rocks! Minutes from downtown, very peaceful, away from the noise of the city, yet close enough for easy access to Duluth activities. Great view of the lake, great room, great value. If you like the fancy big name ...
