My boyfriend and I stayed at Nordic Hills Lodge for the President`s day weekend. It was amazing!!! The Lodge is very close to the Mount Snow - 4 miles away only. The owners, Bruce and Kate, are by far the most friendly and hospitable owners we met. The Lodge is great - so homey and warm - it feels like your own home or as if you came to visit a ...

Home away from home!

This property is a gem. I felt right at home from the moment I walked into their lodge. Bruce, the owner, welcomed me with a short tour of the property. This is no Marriott or Hilton which is what I'm used to but a warm and welcomed place to stay. They have a large living room where everyone can read, watch TV, warm up by the fire or have a ...

We want to move in!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/07/06
My girlfriend, my cat, and I stayed at this inn for the July 4 holiday weekend and all enjoyed it immensely! The rooms are comfy and well maintained (with ideally designed window ledges in the "pet friendly" rooms to perch on and covertly monitor the activities going on in the mysterious nearby woods). The atmosphere at the lodge is ...

Really, It's a bed and breakfast!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/01/06
We enjoyed our stay at Nordic Hills. The decor was warm, homey, charming, if quaint. There were many "collectibles." A lot of love went into their selection and display. The cuckoo clock delighted my grands. So did the game room, with the large screen TV in an adjoining lounge. They also made off with more cookies than they should have. ...

My girlfriend and I visited the Nordic Hills Lodge over President's Day weekend. Upon entering the house we were instantly surprised at how homely it was.
The owners of the lodge are very friendly while attending to your every need. We were so happy with the surrounds that we inquired about staying an extra night during the busy holdiday ...

Amazing! Can't wait to come back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/22/06
The inn is warm and comfortable, just like home. Our kids loved the place. Wonderful hosts and great food. The dinners rival any five star restaurant! We highly recommend the Nordic and can't wait to come back!

Excited about returning
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/21/06
The Nordic Hills Lodge was a warm, delightful experience. Our family spent three restful nights. The breakfast was delicious and dinner was even better. I asked to speak to the chef to compliment him on the meals. He was very gracious. When leaving, the Korb's were very helpful with our exit out. We can't wait until we return.

Not a place for children
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/31/06
Although the inn views itself as "children-friendly" - that is the furthest thing from the truth. We just returned from the weekend there with our daughter - and she was treated with dis-respect and with distaste.
The food is marginally good, the guest rooms small and the decorating is in poor taste (unless you like ducks!!)
My advice - go somewhere else

We love the place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/18/06
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend there - the food is great and the rooms comfortable and clean. The owners are terrific hosts, couldn't ask for nicer people. They bent over backwards for us giving us a hot breakfast and onto the slopes before 8am. Great location too - on the back road into Mt Snow, missing the congestion of the main ...

average, very average!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/15/06
The Inn is clean & the location is good, but the food is marginal, at best! If it's not a big inconvenisence, go out & eat! Breakfast is served too late (8-10am), I want to be at the mountain skiing by 8AM, not getting ready to eat breakfast! Some of the rooms are really nice (the ones on the main floor), others are small for any more than 2 guests. Nordic Hills Lodge is a very average placeto stay for the $$$.
