  • Great Extended Stay Rates
    By Kevin, 10/24/09
We just stayed at the Econo Lodge Southeast in Clackamas/Milwaukie for a two week period. I would have to say that this has been one of the best places we have stayed at by far while working in Portland Oregon! The room was great for the price we paid, all the amenities were included that a business traveler would need for about $40 a day. We are sure to return in January when we are back in the area for work...Great Weekly Rates!!!!

  • We love staying here!
    By doublebubble, 05/21/09
This motel is very nice for the price. You get the best deal on line of course or if you call the 800 number. It's a family run business and by all appearances it's pretty clean. I would be on my house keeping staff a little more . Why let the house staff bring your rating down even a little if you didnt have to? We'll be back again though.

  • Southeast Portland's Best Value
    By Susan, 11/18/08
We loved the value and cleanliness of the Econo Lodge Southeast Portland. We were in the area attending a event at the Milwaukie Elks Lodge for Veterans Day. We are sure to return next year due to this hotel only being 6 miles from Downtown Portland and mins from Oregon City!

  • Great Service for your buck
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/16/08
Family run business and very friendly. Building was in good condition and the room was extremely clean. As a bonus, there were a fridge and 2 micowaves, all for about $50. Continental breakfast was okay and it was far from downtown portland. Its along a main road, so traffic might be bothersome. The room however stays quite quiet. But if you ...

  • Home away from home
    By S., 02/15/08
We recently stayed at the Econolodge Milwaukie, during our bowling tournament. We found this hotel to be close to were we had to be and very comfortable. The rooms were very nice and the property staff was great to work with. We never felt like we had left home and it seemed like we were staying at a bed & breakfast, rather than a hotel. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling for business or pleasure.

  • Beware!!!
    By Shanny Dawn, 02/11/08
I never even made it to the hotel for our vacation. About an hour from Portland, my family had to turn around and head to the ER. I called the desk clerk and explained that I wasn't going to be able to keep my reservation and why. He started screaming at me that I will have to pay for my reservation regardless because I didn't cancel within ...

  • Great find
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/29/07
This place was great. Very affordable. Clean. Spacious. Great management. Breakfast was bagles & muffins with juice & coffee. Free high-speed internet. They upgraded our room for no additional cost. The area seems rather safe.

  • Great Value, Good lodging
    By Rebecca, 07/01/07
The motel is great as far as being convenient, clean, reasonably priced, with surprisingly well appointed rooms. Small refrigerator, microwave and extra sink on island separates the sleeping and living spaces. I also appreciate the fact that bathroom sink is on a bar outside the door of the toilet and tub area (two people can get ready at once.) It ...

  • This is an Econo Lodge?
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/27/06
We usually avoid Econo Lodges because of some very bad experiences. This one is superb with huge rooms (by standards of discount motels) and a very accommodating couple running the motel. Rather comical is the mechanical coffee dispenser that will even produce a cappucino for an extra 50 cents. Coffee is free at the breakfast buffet that ...
