Go to the lake,do not go to the "resort". Rooms are bad and the food is BAD!.

Great for outdoor activities. The rooms are neat and have TV, and had a great view of the lake. The food was good qualtity and service was with a smile. Grocery store was well stocked with general merchandise.

Apache Lake is remote and beautiful. The drive was
spectacular through the little grand canyon "Fish Creek". The motel rooms were clean and attractive. Our handicap room was spacious. The food at the restaurant was good. I will definitely return to this awesome place.

In addressing the previous comment, yes the resort has been family owned for the last 30 years. Unfortunately, they have taken every penny and put it in their pockets. Not a dime is spent on the resort.

well i was just reading some reviews and let me tell you those people dont have a clue about apache lake the resort has been in the same family for over 30 years and is one of the best secluded get aways. there is a reason for no phones in the rooms if you are at a secluded resort you should be out enjoying the resort and not on the phone
