Rates are great, excellent location, quiet and uncrowded area. Only drawbacks are the buildings are showing their age. My family goes every year!

Shop around!! you can go 3 buildings up or 4 down and get a 3 bedroom condo at the Waterpoint for less than this place. We stayed 1 night !
It is so overpriced, and then they charge you for ice, and laundery? The place she pay you to bring some thing to fix it up !! The bathrooms are the worse, what little trim that is still around the nasty ...

This was my first trip to the ocean, So I was wanting something amazing. If you want amazing then your going to pay alot. For 6 days we spent $294, The room had its own a/c, freige, oven, coffee maker and sink. You could tell there had been water damage to the room, But other then that it was very clean and a great place to stay. Everytime wego down this is where we are staying.

i have been staying here fror 5 years now and it is a nice motel getaway off the busy trail of the grand strand.
you can't beat it for the price and the rooms are clean and the service is decent.

We had a room on the bottom floor the people in the room over us were so noisy we couldn't sleep we left at 2 AM Later called and complained but the manager would not give us a refund I will never stay at this place again Hopefully they will take a bulldozer to it !!!

My family and I have also used this location for about 25 yrs. It is one of the last of the original Motels left at North Myrtle. That being said you can't expect to stay here and think you will receive 5 star quality. It is old, so the rooms are not the best but our rooms have been clean. Also, with being a very short distance from a not so crowded beach, makes it well worth the cost (cheap).

if you like to stay in a small, oceam front family hotel this is the place to stay. Nothing fancy and expensive. my family has stayed there for 25-30 years and wouldnt go anyplace else.
