This was our 2nd time there and it was was excellent again. My husband forgot his jacket so the owner offered to loan us a sweatshirt for the concert! How nice of her. A delightful quiet sanctuary, just a short walk from a rustic village area that feels more European than Silicon Valley. The Lodge, over the 3 years that I have chosen it for refuge, has been consistently clean, well appointed, and evidenced consideration for comforts of guests. It is a convenient location for guests attending concerts at the nearby Mountain Winery. The rooms are guiet and the staff is most helpful to insure a satisfying stay.
I was staying in silicon valley for business and was looking for a quiet hotel in a country atmosphere. I came across this hotel on expedia and it reminded me of Carmel. The rooms are nicely appointed and the service was top drawer. They even had a continental breakfast in the morning with the best coffee I've had in a while. I'd highly recommend this hotel to any road warrior looking to get away from the rat race.
