i have been staying at ALs every year since 1999. there is not a better value in the entire town... show me any place with 3+ beds, large multi room for under $80/night...yea, not gonna happen.
the only thing some people may have an issue with is the 'old school' decor and no pool... but i go there to sleep, and sleep well since it ...
first off, the lady who runs the place is not rude. she's busy. there's a difference. she runs the whole hotel by herself AND has to take care of her ill husband. so please, cut her some slack.
we have stayed at al's westward ho every year from 1998 through last year with the exception of 2002, when we simply didn't make it to ...
This is the place. Excellent value, very clean rooms, quiet location. Everything you would want in a motel. Not a big place. Family owned and operated. I highly recommend this motel.
The rooms are immaculate, the service by Mrs. Parker is the best, she has owned and operated this place for over 40 years. She has kept the motel up to date and has several newer rooms that are spacious. The motel is accross the street from Yellowstone National Park and is the first business when you exit from the Park. It's location is perfect.
I cancelled my reservation more than a week before my scheduled visit by leaving a voicemail at their office. They claim that they did not receive this message although I have the phone records to back it up. I'm not that upset about the money - it's the dishonest business practice.
The rooms are clean and is the closest to the park entrance. Nice quiet rooms and so reasonable. Have been returning to Al's Westward Ho for many years. Friendly and honest family run operation.
Nice clean quiet rooms. Excellent price easy access. Freindly people. Great for families or for the lone traveler. Would without a doubt stay there again.
I was very pleased. Its quiet, inexpensive and clean. Very near to the park gate (about 3 min walk). Would prefer to stay there again. Resident manager, so late check in was no problem (about 8 pm).
